My name is Jonah Elkowitz. I am a 19-year-old, award-winning photographer from Long Island, New York. One of the reasons I enjoy photography is because it gives me an excuse to explore the world and meet new people; it has opened my mind up to new experiences and never-ending learning opportunities. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity of going to Cuba and Japan, and many more destinations, to learn more about other cultures and to improve upon my photography skills in the field. I have shot for a vast array of clients, most notably AriZona Beverages, The Daily Northwestern, and StartupCuba. I have also been acknowledged by several associations for my work including Sony, Scholastic Art and Writing, as well as the Illinois College Press Association.
